Karachi: Pakistan International Airlines on the fourteenth day of its Hajj Operation operated five special hajj flights while carrying around 2,000 Hujjaj to the Holy Land.
On Sunday, PIA’s flight from Karachi PK2125 carrying 502 Hujjaj at 06.25AM, PK2625 carrying 329 Hujjaj left Peshawar at 09.20AM, another flight from Peshawar PK2027 carrying 329 at 2.00PM, from Multan PK2327 carrying 501 at 7.35PM and from Quetta PK2727 took off at 10.00PM carrying 329 pilgrims to holy land.
The departure and arrival of all flights was on time, PIA Spokesperson said here.
Till now the total uplift of intending pilgrims stand at 26,500 by Sixty five hajj flights.
So far, Nine Hajj flights from Karachi carried 3,916, nine flights from Lahore 4,457; nine flights from Islamabad 4,311; nineteen flights from Peshawar 6,480; ten flights from Quetta 3,283 and eight flights from Multan carried 4,018 Hujjaj to Saudi Arabia.
On Sunday, 22nd September, a total of five special flights are scheduled to operate; two from Peshawar and one each from Karachi, Multan and Quetta.
