Balochistan Veteran T20 cricket tournament gets underway


QUETTA: Balochistan Veteran T20 cricket tournament began in Quetta Cantt Monday. It was inaugurated by Brigadier Nayyar Abbas of Headquarters Southern Command

It is first Veteran cricket tournament which has organised by Pakistan Army. Eight teams are participating in the tournament.

Two matches were played on the opening day. First match was played between Kasi Cricket club and Wahdat Senior Club. Kasi Club scored 152 runs and defeated Wahdat Club.

Second match was played between Army veteran and Tiger veteran. Tiger Veteran batting first scored 214 runs for the loss of 4 wickets.

In reply Army Veteran could score 173 runs loosing 6 wickets. Thus Tiger veteran were declared victorious.
