Closing ceremony of police training

QUETTA: Commander Southern Command Lt General Nasser Khan Janjua has said that police was ready to face handful of terrorists. It is your responsibility to hold flag of the country and do not allow any harm on the dignity of the nation. He was addressing closing ceremony of Police Training organised by Pakistan Army here Thursday.

Provincial Ministers, tribal elders, IG Police Amlesh Khan, Secretary Home Akbar Hussain Durrani, I G FC Major General Muhammad Ejaz Shahid, senior officers attended.

Police jawans completing training showed various phases of their skill such as jumping form a high building through rope, targeting terrorists hideouts, fight without weapons and archery.

Police men were imparted training of the orders of Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif. It continued for eight weeks. Officers and jawans of Pak Army imparted training to policemen. Army bears all expenses in this regard including boarding, lodging, transport and others.

Commander Southern Command distributed prizes among jawans who won the positions. He said with joining of a contingent comprising 200 jawans performance and morale of police force would heighten further and they would ready to face prevalent situation.

He also assured Pak Army was ready to fully assist Balochistan police in all ways.
