QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Dr Abdul Malik Baloch has said without women participation no society can progress. Party needs revolutionary measures for improving education and health sectors and not appointments and transfers.

He said this while addressing National Party Women conference here Saturday.

More than 400 women delegates attended the conference while women secretaries form 28 districts tabled reports of their respective districts.

He said women wing of National Party separates it from other parties. He said it is admitted principle of the developed world that without women’s participation in social, political sectors journey of development is not possible. He said democracy has received bad name in the country and Balochistan for not satisfying people. National Party has to give better results for progress and prosperity, welfare of people. He asked workers not to entangle themselves in appointments and transfers rather give policy for education, health and end to unemployment and minimizing people’s problems.

Chief Minister said that mortality ratio of mother and child during delivery is dangerously high in Balochistan. More than one thousand vaccinators receive salaries by sitting at their homes while our children die of measles. If they work honestly 98 percent children can be vaccinated in the province.

He called upon the party workers to mobilize people to play their role for improvement of health and education sectors. They should point out absent staff at the health and education departments.

He said provincial government should soon launch fill the schools movement. It is our desire not a single child is out of school. He said modern system has been introduced in Quetta to ensure presence of teachers. It would be the expanded all over the province.

He said training sessions of ideology and vision for women would also be arranged while special attention would also be paid on the membership campaign of women.

Addressing on the occasion, Senior Vice President Tahir Bizenjo said philosophy of superiority and inferiority among males and females is not correct in any way. There is no dearth of ability among the women. When society changes human also changes and so change of males causes impacts upon the women. Storm of universal change has changed thoughts of human being. He said Baloch society has been liberal always. No one can even think of throwing acid on women or forced nikah. There was no concept of extremism in our society. All this has been trusted upon us under an agenda.

Secretary Women Wing MPA Dr Shama Ishaq Baloch, MPA Yasmeen Lehri also addressed the conference.
