QUETTA: A cold weather gripped Quetta Valley and other parts of Balochistan Monday. This is in the wake of widespread rain and snowfall on hills tops. Mountains around Quetta Valley turned white following fresh spell of snowfall.
Quetta Valley received a total of 48 millimetres of rain during past two days. Due to cold weather people took out warm clothes and woollies. Gas pressure remained very low in several areas of the province. People were forced to buy firewood to ward off cold. Maximum temperature recorded here Monday was 12 Centigrade and minimum 5 Celsius. Met office has predicted hazy to fair weather during coming 24 hours.
