Five coal miners freed


QUETTA: Four abducted miners were freed Wednesday.

Chief Inspector of Mines Iftikhar Ahmed told PPI that armed men had abducted seven mine workers Monday-Tuesday night in Sor Range area in the suburb of Metropolis when they were going to their homes. Three of them were set free after some time while four were taken to unknown place. They were freed today.

He said reason for their abduction was still unknown.
