JI delegation distributes relief goods among IDPs


QUETTA: A high level delegation of Jamaat Islami visited North Waziristan Internally Displaced People camps in Bannu and distributed relief goods and ration packs.

According to details JI delegation consisting of Secretary General Liaqat Baloch, Amir JI Balochistan Abdul Mateen Akhundzada, Naib Amir JI Asadullah Bhutto, Amir JI Azad Kashmir Abdul Rasheed Turbai, Deputy Secretary General Hafiz Sajid Anwar, Secretary General JI Punjab Nazeer Ahmed Janjua and others visited IDPs camp s in Bannu and distributed ration packs and relief goods among them.

Addressing IDPs on the occasion and speaking to Media Liaqat Baloch and Mateen Akhundzada said government is directly responsible to dislodge one million people during holy month of Ramzan. Military leadership had given Nawaz Sharif for talks but his government at the behest of foreign pressure started operation in haste and thus hurt national feelings. It ignored subsequent difficulties and problems and of the operation and left IDPs helpless. They said government has all resources but incompetent and corrupt rulers created difficulties for lakhs of people and did not ask their condition. They said if any assistance was being made it was by Al Khidmat Foundation and other welfare organisations while there is cry over ruler’s inapt behaviour everywhere.

They said America was carrying out drone attacks and army was bombarding in tribal areas in which women and innocent children area targeted.

They said if 80 percent area is free from terrorists and under control of Pak Army then IDPs should be allowed to return to their homes and hearths to celebrate Eid there.

They said Government, Army and political forces have to steer the country of crises confronting the country by coming on a page. If government did not show wisdom then a massive human tragedy may take place.

Answering a question about Azadi March and Revolution Liaqat Baloch said protest is democratic and political right of very party but democracy should not be derailed and constitution and Independence Judiciary should not be murdered. Pakistan cannot afford any adventurism any more. Revolution can be brought by an organized force. We are listening to revolution and New Pakistan slogans for several years.
