JUI to hold countrywide protest on 14

QUETTA: Jamiat Ulemae Islam has announced countrywide protest on Nov 14 for delay in arrest of accrued for attack of Maulana Fazlur Rehman and investigation of the incident and not making public facts in this regard. The announcement was made by Secretary Information JUI Hafiz Hussain Ahmed here Sunday.

He said two weeks have passed but investigation agencies and government did not inform Party or its leadership rather were keeping mum. Hafiz Hussain Ahmed said after the incident Interior minister should have resigned. He said JUI also apprised Prime Minister of its reservations but no progress has been made yet.

He said on his failure Balochistan Chief Minister had to step down on Quetta incident.

Secretary Informaiton said on Friday next condemnation resolutions would be adopted in all the mosques in the country and demonstrations and dharnas would be staged t all the district headquarters and processions would be taken out.

He said Interior minister holds hour long Press conference on any issue in the country but he did not like to say one word over attack on a n important political, religious and international personality nor apprised people about this incident. How can peace is established in presence of such Interior Minister. He said Chaudhry Nisar should tell the nation why he was silent.

Hafiz Hussain Ahmed said entire country would protest on Friday.
