QUETTA: Pak-China Economic Corridor should not be made controversial in any case. Implementation of original route is in the interest of all. There is need to pay attention on economically weak areas than developed areas. If development has reached to backward areas, it should be deviated. Developing one province at the anger of two provinces is no wisdom.
These views were expressed by Secretary General Jamaat Islami Liaqat Baloch while addressing newly elected provincial shura at JI Provincial Secretariat here Monday.
Amir JI Balochistan Abdul Mateen Akhundzada and Shura members elected from all over the provinces and others attended.
Newly elected members took oath of office while District Umara presented mass contact reports. It was decided to continue the campaign for some more time expressing satisfaction and directed for securing 100 percent targets.
Shura formed executive committee, political, planning, invitation, training and other committees.
It also reviewed Gwadar-Kashgar route, situation in Karachi, political situation obtaining in Balochistan. It strongly condemned putting leaders of Islamic movements behind the bars in Bangladesh, Egypt and other Muslim countries and brutalities against movements.
Liaqat Baloch added that Balochistan occupies significance owing to its geographical location, international politics and reserves and minerals. Wrongs of government and establishment were punishing people of Balochistan. Despite all dangers, conspiracies Jamaat Islami would strive for welfare of people, economic politics, securing rights with better strategy.
He said Islamic movements were being impeded in the world. Egypt, Turkey and other brother Islamic countries Islamic movements were activating. Haram Pak Harmain Shareefain is hub of Islamic world and all have unified stand for their security. There is need for implementation of joint resolution of Parliament over Yemen issue. In the absence of foreign minister problems were increasing he added.
Abdul Mateen Akhundzada also spoke on the occasion.
