QUETTA: Balochistan governor Muhammad Khan Achakzai has said provincial government was mobilizing all resources for the recovery of Arbab Abdul Zahir Kasi. His recovery is responsibility of all including government who have to work jointly.
He was speaking to a delegation of all political parties representatives which called on him under the leadership of Chief Minster Dr Abdul Malik Baloch here Monday.
Delegation was consisted of Abdul Rahim Ziaratwal and Abdul Qadir Agha (PMAP), Maulana Abdul Wasay (JUI), Shaikh Jaffar Mandokhel (PML), Abdul Khaliq Hazara (HDP), Allah Dad Barech (PML-N), Maulvi Muhammad Hafeez and Abdul Qadir Luni (JUI-N), Bismillah Kakar (PPP), Malik Naseer Shahwani (BNP), Rasheed Nassar and Abdul Jabbar (ANP), Arbab Khalid Kasi of Kasi Supreme council, Abdul Mateen Akhundzada (JI) and Abdul Khaliq Baloch and Niaz Baloch (National party).
Meeting discussed matter of abduction of ANP leader Arbab Zahir Kasi. Governor expressed satisfaction all political parties are untied in the matter. He asked people to cooperate with the government in this connection and if they have any information they should inform concerned people. He said effective measures should be adopted for averting incidents of abduction for ransom.
He assured the delegation that he would seek time from President of Pakistan and Prime Minister for meeting of delegation with them so that they could apprise them of this problem
Speaking on the occasion Chief Minister Dr Abdul Malik said entire government machinery is active for the recovery of Zahir Kasi and effective efforts were underway in this connection. He said provincial government was fully assisting all political parties for it.
Spokesman of All Parties Maulana Abdul Wasay said that all political parties of the province were untied in the matter of abduction of Arbab Zahir Kasi and they were unitedly making efforts for his recovery. Government and Opposition have evolved a consensus course of action and all parties were working rising above political differences. He said delegation would also meet with President and Prime Minister.
Rasheed Nassar of ANP, Abdul Rahim Ziaratwal of PMAP and Bismillah Kakar of PPP expressed their views and stressed the need for mobilizing all resources for recovery of Zahir Kasi.
