QUETTA: Election Commission of Pakistan is fully committed to hold free and fair election in Balochistan on Dec 7. It fully enjoys support of provincial government. Election Commissioner was mobilizing all available resources for holding local bodies polls to ensure free, fair and impartial manner in time.
This was stated by Provincial Election Commissioner Balochistan Syed Sultan Bayazeed while speaking to Media men here Thursday.
Election Commissioner said that all have to follow code of conduct of polls no institution or person would be allowed to influence the polls. He said election Commission representatives in length and width of Balochistan are engaged in election duty day and night to complete polls process satisfactorily.
Provincial election Commissioner said that ballot papers for LB Polls have started reaching Quetta. He said strict security measures have been adopted at Quetta airport. Transportation of these ballot papers to all districts would be completed by December 1. In remote and sensitive areas ballot papers would be airlifted by helicopters. Initially ballot papers have been delivered to Returning Officers in four districts Chagai, Noshki, Killa Saifullah and Barkhan.
