SGA celebrates Sindh Cultural Day

Naudero, Sindh: Sindh Graduates Association, Naundero Chapter, celebrated Sindh Cultural Day 2013 at Primary School No: 1 here on Sunday. Hussain Bux Narejo, Ashiq Mangi, Lateef Kerio, Dr. Ghaffar Katpar, Ghulam Hussain Katpar, Ghulam Hyder Narejo and others participated in the program.

The speakers said that Sindh has a very rich culture based on 5000-years old heritage of Moen-Jo-Daro and since those day Ajraks & Sindhi caps are used by Sindhi people and the same cannot be ignored and finished by any group of people.

The participants wore traditional Sindhi caps and Ajraks. They urged the people of Sindh to get their children educated in their mother tongue. They demanded of the federal government to declare Sindhi as national language of the country. They requested the Sindh Government to enforce Sindhi as compulsory subject in all schools of the province.
