Karachi: State Life Insurance Corporation of Pakistan has paid total amount of Rs18.6billion claims till September 2013, as death claims to family members of policyholders and Maturity claims to policyholders.
While in the year 2012 State Life has also paid Rs.24.34 billion on account of claims thus providing financial protection and savings to thousands of valued policyholders and their families nationwide.
This was stated by Alamuddin Bullo, Chairman State Life while presiding a meeting of Policy holder’s service. He said that the prompt claim payments to the policy holders is utmost and primary responsibility of State life.
He said that State Life is playing a pivotal role in providing financial protection to millions of families through life insurance.
Bullo also review the performance of Policy Holder Service Division especially the processes of claim payments and the quality and the settlement in due time.
Chairman State Life noticed that during the last three months the process of death and maturity claims has been accelerate. He also advises the policy holder’s service to facilitate the Policy Holder with special care.
