Karachi: Favorite Mohammad Inam recovered impressively to secure top place with 932 points in the 6th Islamabad Ranking Tenpin Bowling Championship underway at Mega Zone Bowling Centre in Islamabad.
Top seed Inam, who was almost down and out after the first round and was at the brink of being eliminated in the first hurdle, as he was trailing in the bottom half after five games.
However, he made a strong comeback to secure his place on the top of the table after first round of play. Meanwhile, Khalid Saeed followed Inam with 915 points. Zafar Iqbal sat at third spot with 902 points.
Sixty players participated in singles category and doubles category.
Meanwhile, in the deaf category Khurram won gold medal with a score of 273 points. Qasim finished with 269 points and won silver medal while Amir won bronze medal with a score of 248 points.
