1st ODI: Pakistan beat New Zealand by five wickets

Pakistan defeated New Zealand by five wickets in the first One-Day International of the five-match series in Rawalpindi on Thursday night.

Batting first, New Zealand scored 288 runs for loss of seven wickets in allotted fifty overs.

In reply, Pakistan achieved the target in 48.3 overs for the loss of five wickets.

Fakhar Zaman who scored 117 runs in 114 balls was declared Player of the match.

The second ODI will be played between Pakistan and New Zealand in Rawalpindi tomorrow.

The match will start at 3:30 pm.
