Muzaffargarh: Nadir Khan Magsi won the race in the seventh ‘Thal Desert Jeep Rally’ that ended here on Sunday in the desert of districts Muzaffargarh and Layyah.

Asif Fazal secured the second position and Muhammad Jafar Magsi stood third in the race that kicked off on Saturday. Nadir Magsi achieved the target in 2 hours 10 minutes and 15 seconds, while Asif Fazal Chaudhry took 2 hours 12 minutes, and 32 seconds to reach the finishing point and Jafar Magsi came third in 2 hours 50 minutes and 16 seconds.

Tourism Development Corporation of Punjab (TDCP) has arranged the seventh edition of the rally at the desert and marshy track of around 2.8 kilometers of Southern Punjab Thal desert in districts Muzaffargarh and Layyah.

As many as 38 stock category vehicles participated in the race, in which rally drivers and racers from across the country participated. A musical night and prize distribution ceremony will be held at Faisal Stadium Muzaffargarh.
