Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb has formally launched the Economic Affairs Journal.

Addressing the launching ceremony in Islamabad on Tuesday, she appreciated the efforts of Ministry of Information and Broadcasting for taking this initiative, which would provide an insight on country’s economic issues.

The Minister said the Journal will not only highlight the economic achievements of the government, but will also provide platform for constructive criticism.

Marriyum Aurangzeb terms launch of journal as part of celebrations in connection with Pakistan’s 75 years of independence. She said the journal would also provide a historic overview of Pakistan’s economic opportunities and challenges.

The Minister also urged the staff to promote such initiatives at diplomatic level so the world can understand key economic challenges being faced by Pakistan.
