A Singapore-based leading Series A and B venture capital firm, Patamar Capital, will invest $10 million in Pakistani companies in the next few years, a statement said on Tuesday.
Patamar Capital and SEED Ventures, a leading impact investor and ecosystem development organization committed to enhancing the impact and entrepreneurial landscape of developing economies, have joined hands by signing a partnership agreement, the statement said.
Under this agreement, SEED has partnered with Patamar Capital in identifying potential investment opportunities in financial services, E-commerce, health care, agriculture, career, and education sectors in Pakistan. Social impact and women empowerment will be a key tenet of these investments in addition to their business viability.
This collaboration will create opportunities for growth and development for social enterprises operating within the STEM, financial Services, e-commerce, health care, agriculture, career and education sectors in Pakistan.
Considering both organizations hold women empowerment as a priority area in their investments, this collaboration is good news for women-led enterprises and enterprises producing products and services that benefit women, the statement said.

These are exciting times in Pakistan. We are excited to partner with SEED who have the best interest of the country and its people at heart, that will help Patamar identify the potential in the country.
