Water crisis posing threat to economy: ICST

Islamabad Chamber of Small Traders said water crisis has turned into a drought-like condition posing a serious threat to the economy.

Patron Islamabad Chamber of Small Traders Shahid Rasheed Butt said country's entire water supplies are only enough to meet human consumption demand only leaving crops, orchards and fodder without sufficient water.

He further said had the country managed to save even one-third of the wasted water it would have been in much more comfortable position.
