2nd Customer Satisfaction Award distribution ceremony held

KARACHI: Pakistan Standards & Quality Control Authority (PSQCA) is keen to support activities, promoting quality standards in Pakistan; therefore we have been continuing participating and supporting customer satisfaction award activity to promote quality standard culture for the consumer empowerment in Pakistan.

“Customer satisfaction award is a tribute to honour businessmen and industries of our country. Award is strengthening relationship of trust among consumer products and service providers. The trust between the manufactures and the consumers will boost the production and resulting sound economic footings to the country.”

In my opinion customer satisfaction award is not merely the name of an award, but of a comprehensive activity. The purpose of this activity is not only to ensure our economic survival but also to establish our economic identities across the world through our popular products and services by maintaining quality standard.

Keeping the inimitable nature of this maiden initiative in view, I would like to extend my full support & patronage to this activity,” said Director General, Pakistan Standards Quality Control Authority (PSQCA) in his message in the seminar on Importance of Consumer Empowerment jointly organized by Consumer Voice Pakistan (CVP) and PSQCA on occasion of distribution ceremony of 2nd Customer Satisfaction Award 2014 held in Karachi.

Director general PSQCA admired the efforts of Consumer Voice Pakistan and other organizers of 2nd Customer Satisfaction Award 2014. He further stated that PSQCA has been established to advise the government on standardization policies, programs and activities to promote industrial efficiency and development, as well as for consumer protection.

The growing recognition that standardization practices are important to product performance and safety has resulted in increased demand for PSQCA’s product certification services, programs and expertise.

Director general congratulates the awardees of 2nd Customer Satisfaction Award 2014 and its organizers for their initiative to organize the consecutive second successful mega event in celebrations of World Consumer Rights Day.

“On behalf of PSQCA, I reaffirm that our patronage to this gigantic activity of “Customer Satisfaction Award” for this innovative public private partnership will continue to strengthen in the years to come,” Director general PSQCA added.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in his message on occasion, term Customer Satisfaction Award business boost effort, creating healthy competitive environment among the leading national and multinational products and services in Pakistan and Dr. Ishrat Ul Ebad Khan Governor Sindh in his message also termed Customer Satisfaction Award 2014 a vital importance for our business community as Pakistan is amongst largest consumers market in world.

Rasim Khan, President Consumers Voice Pakistan in his welcome address thanked guests and congratulated winner awardees. He said that Customer Satisfaction Award is tribute to the businesses that cares and serves their customers at highest level, hence are most popular, among the consumers, having ISO/ PSQCA certification.

Engr Shabbir Ahmed Qureshi appreciated organizers of Customer Satisfaction Awards and assured them his full cooperation.

Umar Ghauri, Chairman “The consumers Eye Pakistan” said that that Customer Satisfaction Award is developing a relationship of trust among consumers, producers, service providers and concern authorities in Pakistan.
