KARACHI: Eight people died in separate mishaps in the city on Monday.
Moiz Khan, 60, son of Gulab Khan, was dead when a wall of his house collapsed in Banori Town area. The body was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK) for medico-legal formalities.
In another incident, Muhammad Bilal, 20, son of Akhtar, was electrocuted in Ibrahim Haideri area. The body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for medico-legal formalities.
Yet in another incident, two unidentified male drug addicts aged about 30 and 45 years were found dead in separate areas of Karachi. A 30-year drug addict was found dead near Milk Street in Lee Market, while 45-year drug addict man at Jang Press road. Rescue sources informed that bodies were shifted to Morgue.
Separately, one Naheed, 36, son of Anees, resident of Orangi town, died when a fast moving vehicle hit him near Habib Bank Chworangi in SITE area. The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for an autopsy.
Meanwhile, a teenager, Fahad, 18, son of Farooq, died in a road accident near Moach Morr in Baldia town. The body was shifted to CHK for an autopsy.
Furthermore, an unidentified 45-year old man died when a fast moving vehicle hit him near Khayaban-e-Mujahid, Phase-8 in Defense Housing Authority (DHA). The body was shifted to JPMC for an autopsy.
Moreover, a man, Muhammad Iqbal, 50, son of Haji Ibrahim, was died when he was hit by his own pistol fire near Tibet Centre in Muhammad Ali Jinnah Road area. The body was shifted to CHK for medico-legal formalities.
