Four killed in Karachi violence


KARACHI: Four persons were killed in separate violence incidents in the city on Thursday. A man, Abid, aged about 30, son of Shamim, resident of Ghaziabad, Orangi Town, was shot dead by unidentified armed men near his house. The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for an autopsy.

In another incident, a man, Ashraf, 35, son of Chaman, was found strangulated to death in his house near Bhens Colony Morr. He was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center for medico-legal formalities.

Yet in another incident, an unknown person, aged 28, was gunned down by unidentified miscreants near Dhobi Ghhat in Garden area. He was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK) for an autopsy.

Separately, the two day-old body of an infant was found from Rexor bridge near Mazar area in Garden. It was shifted to CHK for medico-legal formalities.
