Inquiry: (Inquiry into petrol shortage would soon fix responsibility against responsible quarters)


Rawalpindi: Parliamentary Secretary for Finance Rana Mohammad Afzal on Sunday said that an inquiry, which was underway to fix the responsibility of petrol shortage in Punjab as well as other parts of the country, would soon fix the responsibility and after that strict action would be taken against the responsible quarters.

In an interview, he said facts about the negligence would come to surface soon after completion of the inquiry. He said government was aware of the situation and CNG stations would remain open for next two days across Punjab to mitigate the sufferings of consumers. He said special oil shipments have been arranged to resolve the ongoing crisis.
