KARACHI: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Karachi chapter amir Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman has said their party believes in positive changes through democratic and constitutional norms.
In a statement, he said that the report of Pakistan Institute of Legislative Development and Transparency (PILDAT) has proved the fact that the Jamaat-e-Islami is the most democratic party of the country.
He said the ‘Ummah’ does not refrain itself from ‘Jihad’, adding that justice can also be brought in the society through ‘Jihad’. He said that the JI has strongly condemned the terrorist attacks across the country.
He further said that the secular elements through their nefarious designs were trying to make the things complicated by mixing ‘Jihad’ with terrorism in order to defame the religion. He said that the ‘Jihad’ is a must for in restoration of peace and eliminating terrorism and injustice from the society.
Hafiz Naeem vowed that the JI will continue its peaceful struggle for the implementation of Islamic laws in the country.
