SC: Foreign judicial delegation of NEPAL calls on CJ


Islamabad: A five member foreign judicial delegation of Nepal headed by Justice Mr. Kalyan Shrestha, Judge Supreme Court of Nepal, Mr Lohit Chandra Shah, Registrar, Supreme Court of Nepal, Mr Purushotam Ghimire, Joint Secretary, National Planning Commission Nepal, Mr Bal kirshana Tiwiri Chief Account Controller, Supreme Court of Nepal and Mr Thirtha Raj Aryal, Counsellor/ deputy chief of Mission Nepal embassy, called on Chief Justice of Pakistan Mr. Justice Tassaduq Hussain Jillani in Supreme Court of Pakistan, Islamabad on Tuesday, says a press release.

The delegations discussed the issues/ matters of mutual interest relating to functioning of legal/judicial system in the two countries. The delegation also exchanged the views with the Chief Justice of Pakistan about ADR and mediation Laws. The Chief Justice of Pakistan informed the delegation that mediation mechanism is applied in Pakistan .

At the end Chief Justice of Pakistan thanked the delegation and presented souvenir to delegation as token of respect and gesture of goodwill. The delegation also thanked Chief Justice of Pakistan for sparing time for them.
