Sultan Khel tribe held a jirga

Peshawar: The Khyber Sultan Khel tribesmen held a jirga at Khyber in which they strongly condemned the foiled kidnapping attempt the other day . The elders flayed the administration for its failure to improve law and order and ensure peaceful resolutions of the disputes and other problems.

The speakers at the Jirga said that they were peace loving and were cooperating the government and the political administration to adopt strong precautionary measures to check crimes in the area.

The elders regretted that administration was not serious to resolve prevailing problems that affect the routine life activities in Landikotal, adding that the government should ensure to improve the law and order situation so that crime mongers could not benefit the situation .

Later the jirga participants held a token strike on the road and chanted slogans in favour of their demands .

The Sultan Khel tribe elders also met the political tehsildar Landikotal and the leaders of the pro government peace lashker and apprised them of the aftermaths of the foiled kidnapping attempt the other day. The political tehsildar and the pro government peace Lashker elders assured the jirga of their full support to investigate the incident and punish those involved in the said incident.
