SIALKOT: The public transport remained very thin on all the main roads, as people and public transporters averted to bring the vehicles on the roads due to six days long non-availability of petrol in Sialkot district on Sunday.
Reportedly, majority of the people suffered great ordeal due to shortage of petrol in Sialkot district’s all the four Sialkot, Daska, Sambrial and Pasrur tehsils, as the shortage of patrol remained continued for the sixth consecutive day on Sunday.
Meanwhile, all the petrol filling stations on Sunday remained closed in Sialkot district, as their owners claimed that the government was not supplying them petrol and diesel.
The owners of the filling stations kept their filling stations closed, displaying boards that non petrol was available due to which the stations were closed.
The people expressed severe dismay over the owners of the filling stations and government for this critical situation. The perturbed people urged the government and Commissioner Gujranwala Division and Sialkot DCO to take serious notice for giving early relief to the commuters, in this regard.
