JI leader urges Govt to ensure supremacy of Quran and Sunnah

SIALKOT: Secretary General of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Liaqat Baloch has urged the government to ensure the supremacy of Quran and Sunnah in the country, saying that the Quran has the complete code of life.

He stated this while addressing the party workers here Tuesday. He asked the government to resolve the burning Kashmir Issue. He said that there was no doubt to say water closure issue was a burning issue of the day, which has also became a matter of integrity, as the India wanted to destroy Pakistani agro-based economy by stopping this water in towards Pakistani rivers and making Pakistan a barren land.

Liaquat Baloch revealed that Pakistan was passing through the very hard time, due to which it has now become vital to promote national unity, faith, discipline, sovereignty and solidarity in the country for curbing the menace of the global anti Islam and anti Pakistan by the Non-Believers.

He urged the Muslim Ummah to be united and shun their sectarian differences in larger national interest and glory of Islam.

He said that the Islam has presented a global system of foolproof security and peace, saying that the terrorists have no religion, as every religion of the world gives the lessons of love and peace and respect of the humanity. He added that the present wave of terrorism was a conspiracy against the Muslim Ummah.

Baloch also urged the Ulema of Pakistan to play their pivotal role in promoting religious and sectarian harmony, brother hood, unity, faith and peace in the society, seeking cooperation of the Ulema, in this regard.

He said that it was the demand of the day to forge unity in our ranks. He narrated that sectarian harmony and unity among the ranks of the Muslims was the need of the hour which could help resolved the problems being faced to the Ummah.
