Sialkot: Punjab government has released a special grant of Rs. 2 billion for the early up gradation of 400 beds Govt. Allama Iqbal Memorial teaching Hospital Sialkot to 1200 beds hospital under the Annual Development Programme (ADP).
Commissioner Gujranwala Division Khawaja Shamail Ahmed disclosed this while addressing an important meeting of the district heads of the nation-building departments held here.
He added that different mega development projects (worth of Rs. 45 billion) were under completion in Gujranwala Division under the Annual Development Programme (ADP) by the Punjab government.
Commissioner narrated that the construction of the 25 farm to market roads was briskly underway and it would be completed till June, 2014. He revealed that the construction of three medical colleges was in the final stages in Gujranwala Division.
