Reconciliatory politics may waste results of Karachi operation: JI

SANGHAR: Deputy Chief Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Sindh chapter Mohammad Hussain Mehnti said on Saturday that America, through a deep-rooted conspiracy is creating civil wars in Labia, Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria and other Muslims countries, adding in this grave scenario the Muslim Ummah would have to wake up and united. Pakistan has not seen any significant development in last 66 years and it is marred with corruption, robbery, lawlessness due to lack of proper leadership.

He expressed his views, while talking to media persons at Sanghar Press Club.

He claimed from the day when the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) came into existence, blood shedding continues in Karachi, adding after a raid on MQM headquarters, 90, all these things have been exposed, as dangerous weapons and the accused involved in target killings were recovered from there.

He said the operation in Karachi was yielding positive result, but sadly the PPP-led Sindh government seemed to be again falling victim of its so-called political reconciliation which is a matter of concern. He said due to this reconciliation of PPPP it is feared all the achievements of operation in Karachi may go wasted and the peace of Karachi would again become a distant dream. He, however, demanded Karachi like operations should also be started in all major cities and towns of Pakistan.

He said the JI is struggling to implement the Islamic system for long and making Pakistan an Islamic welfare state. He said for this a campaign for membership entitled “Islamic and Prosperous Pakistan” was started from 3rd April 2015.

Other leaders of JI belonging to district Sanghar, Mushtaq Ahmed Adil, Mohammad Tufail, Abdul Ghafoor Ansari and Rafique Ahmed Mansoori also spoke.
