Sialkot: The Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) will host a mega even at SCCI today Monday to celebrate the “Brazuca”, a football proudly made in Sialkot, which was embraced as an official match ball for the FIFA World Cup Brazil 2014.
SCCI President Dr. Sarfraz Bashir told the newsmen that the day-long celebrations will be chaired by the Ambassador of Brazil in Pakistan Mr. Alfredo Leoni, who will grace the occasion as a Chief Guest.
SCCI Chief added that a giant Brazuca foot ball replica would also be launched in Sialkot during this colourful ceremony at SCCI with the melodious musical tunes and drums’ beats here on June 09, 2014.
Dr. Sarfraz Bashir revealed that it would be a successful mega event which would promote a soft image of Pakistan and would project a positive message of Sialkot football industry for the world.
The world and national media has been invited to cover this mega event being held at Sialkot, now the birthplace of Brazuca foot ball as well.
SCCI President Dr. Sarfraz Bashir narrated that a Sialkot based leading exporting firm “Forward Sports” has produced the Brazuca foot ball for Adidas in just 33 days , which would be played officially in FIFA football World Cup 2014 in Brazil , as it was a great honour and proud for Sialkot and even for Pakistan.
Earlier, local MPA Mansha Ullah Butt visited the said footballs manufacturing firm in Sialkot. He witnessed the manufacturing processes of the machine-made soccer balls there and highly hailed the international standard craftsmanship of Sialkot based artisans…#
