132 kv tower blown in Rakhni


BARKHAN: Terrorists blew up a 132 kv tower in Rakhni area Sunday. Supply of electricity to districts of Barkhan and Kohlu was suspended. According to details terrorists blew up a tower of 132kv transmission line at Budhi area of Rakhni some 50 Km from Barkhan today. Due to damage to the tower supply of electricity to Barkhan and Kohlu districts was suspended. Due to suspension of supply there has been acute shortage of water in the area.

Earlier terrorists had blown two towers of 220 kv Guddu-Sibi -Quetta transmission line in Chattar area on January 7. According to sources repair of affected towers would start after security clearance by concerned authorities. Long load shedding has caused water shortage in several district s of Balochistan.
