SIBI: Additional Session Judge Bhag at Sibi Thursday convicted four nominated accused to 25 years RI and a fine of Rupees 0.2 million each for killing eight persons in firing on a wagon in Bhag area nine years ago. They were also awarded 7 years RI and a fine of Rupees 30 thousand each for injuring two passengers.
According to details eight persons were killed in firing on a passenger wagon in Bhag in 2005. Four nominated persons Gul Jan Sasoli, Syed Abdul Hakeem Shah, Sultan Shah and Kamal alias were sentenced and awrded25 years RI and a fine of Rupees 0.2 million each. They were further awarded 7 years RI and a fine of Rupees 30 thousand for injuring two people.
In another case the said court awarded 25 years RI and a fine of Rupee 0.2 million to nominated accused Gul Jan Sasoli while Abdul Hakeem Shah and Sultan Shah were acquitted for lack of evidence. Gul Jan Sasoli had shot dead Abdul Sattar Arri in Bhag in 2004 over old enmity.
