All set to hold Pakistan’s big CFO conference

HYDERABAD: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) at a meeting of the organizing committee on Sunday finalized all arrangements for one-day CFO conference themed as “From Conformance to Leadership – Evolving Role of CFOs” to be held on Tuesday, 11 and Thursday, 13 March 2014 in Karachi and Lahore. The conference is expected to be participated by around 600 plus thought and business leaders, professionals from Finance, Audit, Tax and Information Technology.

The primary objective of the “CFO Conference 2014” is to provide a platform for the Corporate Finance leaders, Controllers, and thought leaders from variety of industries and diverse expertise to share experiences and derive benefit from it. The Professional Excellence Awards 2014- an initiative to recognize and laud the outstanding professionals who with their talent and innovation have added value to their organization will also be announced in Karachi.

The CFO conference has a unique set of renowned speakers such as Kamran Y. Mirza Chief Executive Officer Pakistan Business Council, Muhammad Zubair Minister of State for Privatization Government of Pakistan, M.
