HANGU, KPK: Chairman of Ansar Burney Trust International and former federal minister for human rights, Ansar Burney, visited the house of Shaheed Aitzaz Hassan at Village Ibrahim Zain in Hangu, KPK and offered condolences with the bereaved family of the young boy who lost his precious life for education and saving life of hundreds of other students of the school.
United Nations former expert advisor on human rights, Ansar Burney, also visited the graveyard and placed a floral wreath at the grave of Aitzaz Hassan. He offered Fateha for the departed soul and expressed sympathy with the family over the loss of precious life.
When Burney reached Village Ibrahimzai, people of the village warmly welcomed him. They said till today due to threats the public representatives of the area like concern MNA and MPA had failed to visit the village due to threats from terrorists and even after several threats from terrorists, the rights activist Ansar Burney visited far flung area.
Burney said Aitzaz saved hundreds of other students by challenging the suicide bomber. He said the slain student would be remembered forever for his sacrifice for humanity and education.
Meanwhile, the former federal minister for human rights, Ansar Burney, visited Hassan’s grave to lay a floral wreath and offer condolences.
Ansar Burney on this occasion appreciated the kind act of Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif and Corps Commander Khalid Rabbani for appreciating the sacrifice of Aitzaz Hassan and also their support to Aitzaz’z family that also gave a big courage to the family and general public at large.
Burney said Hassan was a brave boy who sacrificed his life to protect his hundreds of school students and teachers.
