NAUNDERO: Members of the Jeho community of Gulan Jeho village held a protest demonstration in their village on Wednesday for recovery of their kidnapped young girl a few days ago.

Javed Ahmed Jeho, Faqeer Irshad Jeho, Muhammad Paryal Jeho and others alleged that despite registration of FIR at Naundero police station, their young girl had not yet been recovered which was high-handedness and showed the negligence of the police.

They said that a few days ago people of Dahani community forcibly abducted Ayesha Jeho but she was yet to be recovered by Naundero police as they had taken no action to recover her. They said that now the armed accused were issuing them threats of life which would further aggravate the issue.

They said after the incident, people from various communities reached them and said that the issue would be resolved through the local system but despite passage of 10 days, nothing had been done by them as well.

They warned that if the kidnapped girl was not recovered within two days, then they would block main Sukkur-Larkana road and stage a sit-in there. They urged SSP and DIGP Larkana to take efforts to recover the girl, arrest all the accused and their facilitators to dispense justice.
