Pakistan in final of Asia Cup after thrilling win over BD

Bangladesh won the toss and elected to bat. They scored 327 runs for three wickets in the allotted 50 overs. Pakistan scored 329 for seven wickets with one ball of the last over to spare. All rounder Shahid Afridi made his half century just on 18 balls. With seven towering sixes and two boundaries he made59 runs and was declared the man of the match.

Other tops scorers from Pakistan side were openers Ahmed Shahzad (103 runs) and Fawad Alam (74 runs).

For Bangladesh Anamul Haque made 100, Imrul Kayes 59, Captain Mushfiqur Rahim 51 and Shakib Al Hasan 44 not out from just 16 balls. Pakistan will now play the final of Asia Cup against Sri Lanka on Saturday, March 8, 2014.
