Philanthropists & traders provide equipment to Cardiology ward of Civil Hospital Daska

SIALKOT: In Daska after remaining disappointed due to inordinate delay in issuance of needed funds by the provincial government the people including philanthropists and traders have joined hands for a noble cause to serve the local ailing humanity on self help basis, setting a unique example, advising others to replicate it. The provincial health department could not provide the important instruments, equipment, machinery, medicines and other things to the cardiology ward during the last five months.

They have donated generously and established a well-equipped Cardiology Ward at Civil Hospital Daska on self help basis for providing the latest medical treatment facilities to the local poor heart patients at local level. The provincial health department disappointed the local people who started to do this all on self help basis.

Five months ago, in December 2013 the provincial health department had established Cardiology Department at Civil Hospital Daska without providing the necessary instruments, machinery and staff.

Only a single cardiologist Dr. Zaheer ud Din Babar had been running the whole cardiology department where he used to check only patients and refer them to other government hospitals for their medical treatment. B
