SIALKOT: The big guns of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) have asked the incumbent rulers to show the political maturity and come forward to ensure the removal of all seen and unseen hurdles from the way of promoting a foolproof system for ensuring the free, fair, transparent, impartial and peaceful elections, whenever they might held in the country. They also asked the government to make sincere efforts to bring national exchequer (US& 200 billion) lying in the Swiss accounts, saying that money would be helpful in curbing the menace of foreign loans.
The PTI bigwigs including President PTI Makhdum Javaid Hashmi and Former foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi stated this while talking to the newsmen at Jinnah House here today after the overnight’s massive public meeting at Sialkot.
They thanked the people for showing keen interest in Imran Khan’s public meeting at Sialkot and making it successful. They praised the enthusiastic people of Sialkot who gathered in sizzling heat with temperature 47 degrees.
On this occasion, President PTI Makhdum Javaid Hashmi vowed to continue its nation-wide move against election rigging besides, raising the curtain from the faces of all those who stole the mandate given to the PTI by the people during the 2013 general elections.
Hashmi said that the rulers were not showing their political maturity regarding the burning issue of massive engineered rigging in four constituencies mentioned by the PTI. He said that the nation-wide Tsunami of the people is now souring up, as the massive anger of the people against the rigging in 2013 general elections would soon wash out the rigging engineers. The people would never forgive the “rigging engineers” and those who stole the public mandate given to the PTI.
He strongly criticized the government, saying that the rulers could not deliver till now against their political promises and high slogans of making the nation prosperous, in this regard.
Javaid Hashmi narrated that free and fair election would alone guarantee a positive change, ensuring rapid progress and development in the country. He said that no change could be brought about in Pakistan without free and fair elections.
Former Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that the present economical, internal and external policies have badly perturbed every person in the country, which snatched the basic right of living from the common men. The rulers still remained unable to wipe out the tears of weeping people badly hurt by the persisting unbearable circumstances in the country, he added.
President PTI Women Wing Munaza Hassan, President PTI Punjab Chaudhary Ejaz Ahmed, PTI local leaders Umer Dar, Usman Dar, Umer Farooq Myere, Khawaja Arif Ahmed, Shah Nawaz Cheema, Brig (Rtd) Muhammad Aslam Ghuman and others were also present on this occasion.
