NOSHKI: Transporters of Rakhshan Division on Saturday parked their vehicles on RCD Highway Noshki from Customs’ check post to Noshki station, demanding from authorities to take notice of the high handedness of customs staff with them.

According to a statement issued by All Balochistan Bus Transport Federation, the transporters parked their vehicles on the call of All Balochistan Bus Transport Federation.

Speaking on the occasion, transporter leaders, including Senior Vice President, All Balochistan Transport Federation, Haji Malik Shah Jamaldini, said that staff of Collectorate of Customs, Balochistan posted at Noshki check post had been harassing transporters for the last many months on one pretext or other.

He said if maltreatment with transporters was not ended, protest of transporters would continue. He added if legitimate demands of transporters of Rakhshan division were not met by the authorities, they would be compelled to announce wheel jam strike.
