Punjab govt to provide subsidy worth Rs 20 mln for Eid Bazaars

Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar says every possible relief has been provided to public through Ramadan Bazaars.

He said this while chairing a meeting of Punjab Cabinet in Lahore on Friday.

The meeting decided to provide subsidy worth twenty million rupees for Eid Bazaars, in which Eid related items will also be sold from 21st of Ramadan ul Mubarak.

Cabinet also decided to end subsidy on export to stabilize sugar prices. It was also decided to sell 2 kg of sugar per person at Ramadan Bazaar.

Cabinet approved renaming of Fort Manro Development Authority as Koh e Salman Authority and extend its authority circle to tribal areas of DG Khan and Rajanpur.

Cabinet also decided to amend LDA laws regarding land under use for marriage and banquet halls and marquees.
