Karachi: Administrator, Karachi Metropolitan Corporation, Muhammad Hussain Syed said on Friday that the ongoing work on Korangi Causeway, Landhi Sports Complex, CBM Bridge, Korangi Crossing, different roads and other projects would be completed by next month.
During a visit to the project sites to inspect the progress, he directed the officials to expedite the work.
Administrator said that the Korngi Crossing has been redesigned as it used to create traffic mess. Now the vehicles heading towards Korangi Creek have been separated from those going to Korangi and Landhi. “The vehicular traffic has immensely increased here as a large number of colleges, universities and factories have been established in this area. Moreover, this area has also got importance being the tannery zone where a large number of manpower is engaged.
He directed the officials to ensure completion of roads being built at the cost of Rs.213 million.
