KARACHI: Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Pakistan (ICMA) Pakistan has recently signed MoU with Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry (LCCI).
Zia-ul-Mustafa Awan, President ICMA Pakistan and Irfan Sheikh, Senior Vice President, LCCI signed the MoU. The institute, while realizing ever increasing need for industry-institution collaboration, launched a Corporate Partnership Scheme to get benefit of each other expertise for mutual growth and development.
The MoU will enhance collaborations in the areas of Human Resource Support, Training & CPD, Mutual Recognition and Promotion, Research & Development, Infrastructure and Logistics, and Philanthropic Support /Corporate Social Responsibility.
It was mutually discussed to initiate working on tax reforms beneficial for the country and at the same time facilitate the business community to conveniently discharge their tax responsibilities.
The two organizations have decided to work for jointly develop business laws, work for capacity of professionals and promote corporate culture including documentation, disclosures, etc in trade and business.
The auspicious ceremony was held at LCCI’s office and was attended by Executive Committee members of LCCI, Anis Paracha and Mian Zahid whereas ICMA Pakistan was represented by Aamir Ijaz, Abdul Qayyum, Sheikh Mehmoodul Hasan and Munaza Elahi.
