Seven outlaws held; narcotics and weapons recovered
Islamabad, July 23, 2018 (PPI-OT): Islamabad Police on Monday arrested seven outlaws from various areas of the city and recovered 1135 gram hashish, weapons and other looted items from their possession, a police spokesman said. Following directions of Senior Superintendent of Police (Operations) Najeeb ur Rehman Bugvi, he said that efforts were accelerated to arrest those involved in drug peddling activities. He said that Sub-Inspector Muhammad Ishaq from Noon Police arrested two accused Bashir and Ejaz besides recovery of 135 gram hashish from their possession.
Sub-Inspector Saif-Ullah from Bhara Kahu police arrested Naheed Asif and recovered one 30 bore pistol along with ammunition from him. Sub-Inspector Sher Ahmed from Bani Gala police arrested accuse Mumtaz and recovered one 30 bore pistol along with ammunition from him. ASI Manzoor Ahmed from Golra police arrested Haider Ali for his alleged involved in a theft case.
ASI Ishfaq Ahmed from Ramna police arrested Younas and recovered stolen mobile phone from him. ASI Matloob Ahmed from Sabzi Mandi police arrested Noman and recovered one 30 bore pistol along with ammunition from him. Police have registered the cases against these persons and further investigation is underway from them. SSP Islamabad Najeeb ur Rehman Bugvi has appreciated this performance and directed all police officials for effective policing measures in their respective areas.
