TTP chief, spokesman named in police bus attack FIR


KARACHI:,,, Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) Chief Mullah Fazlullah and Spokesperson Shahid Ullah Shahid have been nominated in the First Information Report (FIR) registered within Shah Latif police station in a bomb attack on police bus outside Razzaqabad Police Training Centre on Thursday. The attack left at least 13 people dead and more than 50 injured. It is pertinent to mention here that TTP spokesperson claimed responsibility of the attack on Thursday.

Superintendent of Police, Bin Qasim Town, Dr Najeeb, told PPI that the FIR (77/2014) was registered on the complaint of ASI Israr Khan of Razzaqabad Police Training Centre, who also sustained wounds in the incident.

He said that the law enforcement agencies were busy in further investigations regarding the blast. He expressed his determination that the elements involved in the tragic incident would never be forgiven at any cost. He said that the investigation agencies and police were determined to bring the perpetrators of that crime to justice.

Najeeb said that the case carried the charges of murder and terrorism against the accused. “Section 302 of Pakistan Penal Code and seven of Anti-terrorist Act were included in the FIR,” he said.
