ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, Pir Aminul Hasnaat visited worship places of the minority community and held meetings with their religious leaders to ensure and discuss security measures.
For the purpose, the minister visited Fatima Church and Saint Thomas church to review their security arrangements and discussed the concerns of the religious leaders of the churches in the federal capital.
The minister has also visited Punja Sahib Gurdwara in Hasan Abal and held meeting with its custodian who showed satisfaction over the security arrangements of the warship place of the Sikh community.
Pir Aminul Hasnaat visited All Saint Church at Kohati Gate, Peshawar to share the grief of the families of bomb blast victims and conveyed the condolence message of the prime minister and enquired about health of those who injured in the blast admitted at Lady Reading Hospital.
During the meetings with the religious leaders of the minority, the minister said he has started visits of their worship places on the directives of the prime minister to review their security issues.
The minister said government is committed to take care of minorities in Pakistan as they are part and parcel of our society and government is planning to improve their security.
They have equal rights and free to go to their worship places as per constitution, he added.
