ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Ambassador Asif Durrani called on the Minister Advisor for Health United Arab Emirates Dr Salem Abdul Rahman Al Darmaki on Tuesday to discuss bilateral cooperation in the field of Health.
According to a press statement, the Ambassador Durrani thanked the UAE leadership for their generous contributions in the field of health, education and infrastructure development in Pakistan.
He apprised the Minister Advisor of Pakistan government’s measures to improve the health care in the country. He also discussed more opportunities for employment of doctors and paramedical staff from Pakistan.
Dr. Yousif Mohammad Al-Serkal, Assistant U-Secretary for Hospital Sector, Mr. Awadh Seghayer Alketbi, Assistant U-Secretary for Institutional and Support Services of the Health Ministry of UAE, Dr. Faisal Aziz, Deputy Head of Mission, Mohammad Abdul Wahid Khan, Press Counsellor also attended the meeting.
Subsequently, Ambassador Durrani also visited stalls of Pakistani companies set up at Arab Health Exhibition 2015.Thirty five leading Pakistani companies are participating in the Arab Health exhibition being held from January 26 to 29. 2015.
These companies have showcased Pakistani products mix which include Surgical and Dental instruments, Hospital furniture, gowns, bed sheet, pillows, blankets, uniform, all kinds of bandages, IV Infusion, X-Ray, Ophthalmology and Diagnostic Instruments, Eye surgery manufacturing, assorted Scissors and Forseps, Sterile Single Use Instruments, Mobile health applications and Dialysis Solutions.
