Govt-Taliban dialogue process will succeed: President


Islamabad: President Mamnoon Hussain has expressed the hope that ongoing dialogue process with Taliban will succeed.

Speaking at a function in Islamabad said that country cannot progress without improvement of security situation. He said struggle in the right direction with constructive wisdom can yield sustainable progress and good results.

The president said time has changed and only countries with strong economies are successful in the modern era.  He said we need to fight all challenges in the way of progress with honesty, enthusiasm, concentration and determination.

Talking to ambassadors of Argentina, Brazil and Cuba in Islamabad, the president said the government has taken business and investors friendly initiatives to revive the national economy.

He said Pakistan offers great investment opportunities in various fields especially in energy, infrastructure, science and technology and agriculture.  He said Pakistan is keen to further enhance cooperation with the Latin-American countries of this important region.

The president said that entrepreneurs and business community of Pakistan and the three Latin American countries should work together for joint ventures in energy, science and technology and agriculture sectors.
