ISLAMABAD: Minister of state for education, Baligh ur Rehaman on Wednesday said the government will provide teachers to 100 religious seminaries to impart primary education.
He was distributing awards and cash prizes amongst the toppers of Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education here. He said Rs 50- million have been allocated this year for the capacity building of teachers.
He said education budget has substantially been increased and government wanted to take it to four percent of GDP. He said efforts were underway to bring a uniform curriculum after consultation with the provinces. He also paid tributes to the martyrs of Peshawar tragedy.
