ISLAMABAD: Chairing a meeting on the implementation of National Action Plan for combating terrorism, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Wednesday said that the leadership and the nation stood united to wipe out terrorism from the soil.
He stressed on implementation of National Action Plan for combating terrorism in letter and spirit. He directed that all state resources must be mobilised to ensure implementation on National Action Plan to root out terrorism.
He said since the leadership and the nation stood united to wipe out terrorism, thus now terrorists will not find any hideout. The meeting was reviewing progress on the implementation of National Action Plan in each province.
The Chief Ministers also briefed the meeting on the progress made on the Action plan so far. The meeting discusses the ongoing activities against the terrorists and overall national security situation besides considering the modalities to referring the terrorists cases to special military courts.
Governor Khyber Pakhunkhwa, Chief Ministers of all the four provinces, Ministers for Defence and Interior besides Chief of Army Staff attended the meeting.
